Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab program that works to treat substance abuse problems and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab partakes in various rehabilitation activities and methods in the daytime and then leaves in the evening.
