Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehabilitation facility which is meant to deal with drug addiction problems and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab takes part in a variety of treatment services and techniques during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem.
