Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehabilitation facility which is meant to deal with drug addiction problems and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab takes part in a variety of treatment services and techniques during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for drug or alcohol addicted men and women in Long Island, Kansas who may not be able to afford long-term inpatient rehab, or who are unable to be away from their home and work for extensive periods of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in typical treatment services for drug and alcohol addiction problems while simultaneously dealing with mental health problems which may deter them from remaining abstinent once treatment is done.
