Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment facility that works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in treatment participates in various treatment activities and methods in the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is carried out several days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
