Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehab program that works to treat drug addiction disorders and mental health disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in rehab participates in a variety of treatment services and techniques in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug problem.
