Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug and alcohol treatment facility which works to treat drug addiction problems and mental health problems which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehab participates in a variety of rehab services and techniques during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
