Rehabilitating men and women who are addicted and dependent to drugs and/or alcohol and have landed somewhere in the criminal justice system has proven a productive method of preventing future drug related offenses for individuals who do take advantage of treatment programs. For criminal justice clients in Lebanon who do agree to take part in treatment in alcohol and drug treatment centers, even un-voluntarily as is often court ordered, these clients have a significantly better chance at handling the crux of the problem so that they can remain off of drugs and away from negative influences and [[[committing drug related criminal activity. The costs to the criminal justice system associated with these drug related criminal offenses is also impacted beneficially when criminal justice clients are rehabbed in drug rehab facilities in Lebanon in lieu of jail time or other harsh punishment.
