Women who are expecting and postpartum women in Lebanon that are also drug and/or alcohol addicted not only put their own life at risk, but also put their unborn or newborn child in jeopardy of a lot of serious consequences. The final result is grim if expectant mothers and postpartum women who are involved in drug and alcohol abuse do look for and receive proven and workable drug rehabilitation. There are alcohol and drug treatment facilities in the Lebanon area which in fact work exclusively with pregnant and mothers who have just given birth. These types of drug rehab facilities supply all recommended medical treatment and other necessities for expectant mothers and mothers who have just given birth and their infants so that addicts who are also mothers can obtain the rehab they require.
