Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab facility that works to deal with drug addiction disorders and mental health issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehabilitation participates in a number of rehabilitation activities and methods during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the significance of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for drug addicted individuals in La Plata who are unable to afford long-term inpatient rehab, or for those who are not able to be apart from their home and work for extensive periods of time.
