Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug treatment program that works to deal with substance abuse problems and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in a number of treatment activities and strategies during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is done several days a week, depending on the significance of the problem.
