Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug rehab program that is meant to treat substance abuse problems and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in treatment takes part in a variety of rehab activities and approaches in the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the problem.
