Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment program which is meant to treat drug addiction disorders and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in treatment takes part in various rehabilitation activities and approaches in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the severity of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted people in Kingfisher who may not be able to afford long-term inpatient care, or who are unable to be away from their home and work for prolonged lengths of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in traditional treatment services for drug and alcohol addiction problems while also overcoming psychological problems which may deter them from remaining abstinent after rehabilitation is done.
