Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that works to deal with drug addiction problems and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehab participates in a number of treatment services and methods in the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is done several days a week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
