Facilities known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment programs are offered to certain men and women in Kewaunee who are fighting co-occurring alcohol and drug abuse and psychological problems. These types of programs can be helpful to those treatment clientele in Kewaunee that might not be able to afford inpatient treatment, or who are not able to take advantage of an inpatient center because of familial obligations. Partial hospitalization programs help the client during the day through counseling and other rehabilitation strategies, and the individual goes home in the PM. Rehabilitation is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week on an intensive program which is aimed at fully rehabilitating the individual both body and psychologically.
