Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment program which works to deal with drug addiction issues and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehab partakes in a variety of treatment services and methods during the day and then leaves in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
