Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug treatment facility which works to handle drug addiction disorders and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in treatment participates in a number of treatment activities and strategies in the day and then leaves in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
