Treating men and women who are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol and have ended up in the criminal justice system has proven effective in preventing future drug related criminal offenses those offenders who do take advantage of treatment programs. For criminal justice clients in Joshua who do agree to take part in treatment in drug rehab centers, even un-voluntarily as is sometimes ordered by the court, these clients have a far better opportunity of addressing the crux of the issue so that they can stay sober and off of being implicated in drug related criminal acts.
