Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program which is meant to treat drug addiction problems and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in rehabilitation partakes in a number of rehabilitation activities and methods in the daytime and then returns home in the night time. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
