Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment center that works to handle drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab participates in various rehabilitation services and methods in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the severity of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug addicted men and women in Jamestown who are unable to afford long-term inpatient treatment, or for those who are not able to be away from their families for extensive periods of time. While in Day Treatment, people take part in standard counseling and therapy for addiction issues while at the same time overcoming mental health issues which may deter them from remaining abstinent after rehabilitation is complete.
