Criminal justice clients are a significant percentage of clientele who take part in drug and alcohol rehab programs in Italy, Texas and in the USA. Court systems in the country are finding it more beneficial to treat people who have wound up in the court system for drug related crimes, rather than punishing them in vain with time in jail and other penalties. It has proven more helpful to tackle the issue of drug or alcohol addiction directly, rather than invoke these sorts of penalties.
