Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment facility that works to handle drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehab participates in a number of treatment services and strategies in the day and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out several days a week, all dependent on the significance of the problem.
