Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment facility that works to handle drug addiction problems and mental health problems which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehab participates in various treatment activities and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the significance of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug addicted persons in Irvine who are unable to pay for long-term inpatient rehab, or who are unable to be away from their families for extensive lengths of time.
