Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program which works to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehab takes part in various rehab activities and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the evening time. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for drug or alcohol addicted persons in Iron Gate who may not be able to cover the costs of long-term inpatient care, or for treatment clients who are not able to be away from their home for prolonged lengths of time.
