Programs which go by the name of Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment facilities are available to certain men and women in Independence who are fighting co-occurring substance abuse and psychological disorders. These types of programs can be helpful to those treatment clients in Independence who may not be able to afford inpatient treatment, or who are not able to take part in an inpatient program due to personal responsibilities. Partial hospitalization facilities work with the individual in the daytime through counseling and other rehabilitation methods, and the individual goes home in the PM. Rehab is conducted anywhere from five to seven days per week on a tailored plan which is aimed at fully rehabilitating the person both physically and psychologically.
