Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehab program that works to treat substance abuse issues and psychological disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in treatment participates in a variety of rehab activities and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days per week, depending on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for drug addicted men and women in Hyrum who are unable to cover the costs of long-term inpatient rehab, or for treatment clients who are unable to be apart from their home for extensive lengths of time.
