Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehabilitation program which is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehab partakes in various rehab services and strategies in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is done several days per week, depending on the significance of the problem.
