Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehabilitation facility that works to treat drug addiction issues and mental health problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in a variety of rehab activities and techniques during the day and then leaves in the night time. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the significance of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for addicted individuals in Hopkinton who may not be able to cover the costs of long-term inpatient rehab, or for those who are not able to be apart from their families for extensive periods of time.
