Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab program that works to deal with substance abuse issues and psychological issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in rehab takes part in a number of rehabilitation services and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening.
