Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehab facility that is meant to treat drug addiction disorders and mental health problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in treatment partakes in various treatment services and methods during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for addicted people in Hiltons who are unable to cover the costs of long-term inpatient care, or for those who are unable to be apart from their households for extended durations of time. While in Day Treatment, individuals participate in traditional treatment services for drug and alcohol addiction problems while also overcoming psychological problems which could keep them from staying sober once rehab is complete.
