Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol treatment center which is meant to deal with substance abuse issues and mental health disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehabilitation participates in a variety of treatment services and strategies in the daytime and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days per week, depending on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for addicted persons in Hills who may not be able to pay for long-term inpatient rehab, or for treatment clients who are not able to be apart from their households for extended lengths of time.
