Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol treatment facility which is meant to deal with drug and alcohol addiction issues and psychological issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehabilitation takes part in a number of treatment activities and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem.
