Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehab program which works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehab partakes in a variety of treatment services and techniques in the daytime and then leaves in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem.
