Treating individuals who are addicted and dependent to drugs and/or alcohol and have landed somewhere in the criminal justice system has proven to be effective in preventing repeat drug related crimes for individuals that do become rehabilitated. For criminal justice clients in Hayes Center who do agree to take part in treatment in drug and alcohol treatment programs, even un-voluntarily as is sometimes ordered by the court, these clients have a much better chance at dealing with the root of the problem so that they can stay abstinent and off of being implicated in drug related crimes.
