Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab program which is meant to handle drug and alcohol addiction disorders and mental health disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab participates in various rehab services and approaches in the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is done several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
