Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehab program that works to treat drug addiction issues and mental health issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehab participates in a number of rehab activities and techniques during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is done several days per week, depending on the significance of the problem.
