Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program which is meant to treat substance abuse problems and psychological disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehabilitation takes part in a number of rehabilitation services and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem.
