Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol treatment center that works to treat substance abuse disorders and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehab partakes in a number of treatment activities and approaches in the day and then leaves in the evening.
