Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab center which is meant to deal with substance abuse disorders and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehab partakes in a variety of rehabilitation activities and strategies in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the severity of the problem.
