Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehabilitation center that is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in treatment partakes in a number of rehab services and techniques in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the severity of the problem.
