Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment facility which works to handle substance abuse problems and mental health problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in treatment partakes in various rehabilitation services and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the problem.
