Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug treatment center that is meant to handle substance abuse disorders and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab takes part in a number of treatment activities and strategies during the day and then leaves in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug problem.
