Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program which works to deal with substance abuse issues and mental health problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in rehab partakes in a variety of rehab services and strategies in the day and then returns home in the night time. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the significance of the problem.
