Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that is meant to handle drug addiction problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in treatment partakes in a number of rehabilitation services and methods in the day and then returns home in the night time. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
