Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug treatment facility that works to handle drug addiction problems and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehab participates in various rehabilitation services and strategies in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
