Criminal justice clients are a large portion of clients who are currently taking part in alcohol and drug rehabilitation facilities in Gordo and in the USA. Court systems around the country are finding it more helpful to rehab men and women who have wound up in the court system for drug related crimes, instead of punishing them in vain with time in jail and other penalties. It has proven more effective to tackle the problem of addiction directly, rather than invoke such penalties.
