Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program that is meant to handle substance abuse issues and psychological issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehab participates in a number of rehabilitation services and methods in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days a week, depending on the significance of the drug problem.
