Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment program which works to deal with drug addiction disorders and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in treatment participates in various rehabilitation activities and approaches in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out several days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be helpful for drug or alcohol addicted people in Gibsonburg who are unable to afford long-term inpatient treatment, or for those who are unable to be apart from their families for prolonged lengths of time.
