Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol treatment center which is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in treatment partakes in various treatment services and techniques during the day and then returns home in the evening.
