Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehab program which works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in treatment participates in a variety of rehabilitation services and approaches during the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem.
