Freeland, Maryland - Partial Hospitalization/Day Treatment
Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment program which is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction disorders and mental health issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehabilitation participates in a number of rehabilitation services and techniques in the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the severity of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for drug addicted individuals in Freeland who may not be able to afford long-term inpatient treatment, or who are unable to be away from their home and work for extended durations of time. While in Day Treatment, individuals participate in standard treatment services for addiction problems while simultaneously dealing with psychological issues which may deter them from staying sober once treatment is complete.
