Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment center which works to treat substance abuse disorders and psychological issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehab partakes in various rehabilitation services and approaches during the day and then returns home in the night time. This is carried out several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem.
